Individuals who have not been fully vaccinated for COVID-19 must wear a mask or face covering that completely covers the nose and mouth when inside any courthouse in the Northern District of Texas, and must maintain a distance of at least six feet from other people.  These are temporary requirements to mitigate the risk of spreading COVID-19.  A judge may impose a more restrictive policy in a court proceeding.

Court offices are open to serve the public; however, please be advised that you should not come into a courthouse facility in the Northern District of Texas if you: (1) are experiencing any flu-like symptoms, shortness of breath, have a fever, or are coughing or sneezing; or (2) have been asked to self-quarantine by any hospital or health agency or have been diagnosed with COVID-19 within the past 10 days. If you need assistance from the court and fall into one of these categories, please contact the court by either calling the district clerk’s office at one of the numbers listed in the online directory or emailing the clerk’s office during business hours through the court's website. If you are scheduled to appear before a judge and fall into one of these categories, immediately contact the assigned judge’s chambers for further instructions.
